GISF is pleased to share the date and location information for our 2024 Autumn Forums!
We’ll be hosting one Forum in Europe and one in North America in September. We have exciting plans for both these in-person events, so please make sure to hold the dates in your diaries and start thinking about your travel arrangements.
GISF Forums bring our members, associates and expert speakers together to learn from one another, strengthen relationships with peers, and engage in deeper discussion on humanitarian security risk management. The Forums are primarily aimed at Global and Regional Security Leads.
Europe Forum
- Location: Edinburgh, United Kingdom
- Date: 10th to 11th September, 2024 (Tuesday and Wednesday)

Americas Forum
- Location: Washington, D.C.
- Date: 10th September, 2024 (Tuesday) — one day only!
- Venue: This information is available to members and associates only here.
The Americas Forum, unlike previous occasions, will be a one-day event. This will lead into the OSAC International Development Sector Committee (IDSC) 2024 Annual Conference, which begins the following day, September 11th. We have chosen this date and Washington, D.C. for our Forum so participants have an option to maximise the efficiency of their travel to attend both events. We will host the Forum’s social event on the evening of the 10th in downtown D.C.
