Description | A webinar presented by the IBA War Crimes CommitteeAfghanistan continues to be a place of violence and instability, including the recent bombing of schools. Although peace talks have been ongoing for years, the recent troop withdrawal by the US and NATO raises concerns about protections for the Afghan people. In May, it was announced that the Afghan government is not only cooperating with the International Criminal Court in its war crimes investigations, but that it is engaging in its own domestic efforts towards justice and accountability. This dialogue will discuss the following points:
