About this Event

Liz Frank, Executive Director of Hostage US, will host fellow Board members Michael Scott Moore, journalist and former hostage held captive in Somalia for over two and a half years, and Josh Geltzer, former Senior Director for Counterterrorism at the National Security Council.

This is a unique opportunity to gain a first-hand understanding of the plight of hostages and their families when in captivity and the issues they face when they return home.

This is the first part in a three-part series. We hope you will join us for all three.

Tuesday, October 27, 7:30pm EDT – Jessica Buchanan, former hostage in conversation with Matthew Espenshade, former Special Agent with the FBI

November, date TBD – Roy Hallums, former hostage held in Iraq for 311 days

The webinar link will be accessible to ticketed attendees. The event’s recording will be made available to attendees after the event.
