MAG is recruiting for a Regional Safety, Security & Systems Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an international charity in a new and cross-cutting role.
Previous experience of working within the safety and security sector is not essential, instead we are looking for a dynamic self-starter who can engage strategically across departments, and identify and prioritise issues and develop the effectiveness and impact of the security team.
The Regional Safety, Security and Systems Manager will develop and manage internal and cross-functional safety and security systems; oversee safety and security management in the Asia Pacific and Latin America regions and for new initiatives; and undertake global context analysis of relevant countries and thematic areas and produce analytical products for a variety of audiences.
You will have previous experience of working for an INGO, ideally in a humanitarian response capacity and be an excellent communicator with strong analytical and organisational skills. The successful candidate will have previous experience of designing and integrating knowledge and information management systems and processes into organisations. Familiarity with ArcGIS and PowerBi software would be advantageous, although not essential. Spanish language skills will also be highly desirable.
If you think you would be suited to this role, we would welcome your application. In order to strive towards gender diversity within the team, we would strongly welcome applications from female candidates.
Please note that as part of MAG’s commitment to safeguarding, this post is subject to background checks before an offer of employment is confirmed.
