Description | Starting salary: £40,332 per annum, plus £5,000 annual travel allowance (and contributory pension for UK based employees) *Please see candidate information sheet for further information on the terms and conditions MAG is recruiting for a Regional Safety, Security & Systems Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an international charity in a new and cross-cutting role. Previous experience of working within the safety and security sector is not essential, instead we are looking for a dynamic self-starter who can engage strategically across departments, and identify and prioritise issues and develop the effectiveness and impact of the security team. The Regional Safety, Security and Systems Manager will develop and manage internal and cross-functional safety and security systems; oversee safety and security management in the Asia Pacific and Latin America regions and for new initiatives; and undertake global context analysis of relevant countries and thematic areas and produce analytical products for a variety of audiences. You will have previous experience of working for an INGO, ideally in a humanitarian response capacity and be an excellent communicator with strong analytical and organisational skills. The successful candidate will have previous experience of designing and integrating knowledge and information management systems and processes into organisations. Familiarity with ArcGIS and PowerBi software would be advantageous, although not essential. Spanish language skills will also be highly desirable.
