Refresher Safety & Security training

This refresher course will let the participant grow in his/her expertise, quality of preparation and behaviour in the field of international security.

Together with the participant, Forth Global look at his/her personal experiences from the field and at personal development. They will increase the aggression spectrum and present more complex situations and dilemma’s. Personal safety and risk avoidance are paramount in this. An alert, aware attitude generates better results than learning specific tips and tricks.

During the training, Forth Global bring theory and practice together in role play and simulation sessions. In this way, learning takes place by experiencing the situation. This approach makes our training courses accessible, animated, practical and immediately applicable.

Content of the training:

• In practice: Which dilemmas and safety issues did you encounter in practice? How did you act? How do you look back on them and what have you learned?
• Terrorist attacks and shootings: Here you will learn to look for possibilities for safeguarding your personal security during extreme instances of violence or for ensuring that a violent situation does not escalate.
• Dealing with aggression advanced: You will train your behaviour in complex incidents, such as a violent robbery or intimidating checkpoint. By role-plays and simulations, you will become aware of your behaviour and possibilities.
• How to deal with detention: How can you be subject to as little violence as possible when being arrested? How do you remain mentally and physically stable? We will examine these situations and practice them with you.

The work is done in small groups with a maximum of 12 participants.

After the training you will receive a certificate of participation.

We focus on learning by experience, 75% is practical content.
