Immersive learning reinforces and exercises knowledge within a contextualised environment.
RSM offers fully immersive HEAT courses which are validated under the City and Guild’s “Assured” program as a mark of international excellence. They are unique in that they have an 85-acre designed-built HEAT environment (Pandora) which includes a customs checkpoint, a UN military base, small village (17 buildings), bullet penetration area, mine lane, refugee camp, hamlet and over $150,000 in training assets (including blank firing weapons, and smoke + explosive simulations).
RSM also offer an active shooter office and hotel simulation areas, as well as a state-of-the-art training center which hosts up to 250 people – with a further 9-acres of immersive learning space.
Their programs are designed specifically for the NGO community, and focus on identifying, responding to, and recovering from a wide range of risks. We include small team leadership skills, LGBTQIA and gender security awareness, casualty stabilisation, self-defence and other practical real-world solutions within our curriculum.
