Description | 3 hrs • Instructor-led online course The aid and development sector has only recently come to terms with the real risks that poor mental health poses for their staff. High levels of stress caused by intense working conditions, close proximity to extreme suffering and inherent dangers of field work mean that both workers and organisations are at unusually high risk of suffering burnout. Designed by mental health experts in the aid and development field, ILS now offers this course to address this need. This web-based training is delivered over 3 hours with an ILS facilitator who specialises in stress management and resilience. |
