Description

In today’s dynamic world, organizations at all scales and in all sectors face growing risk and organizational resilience challenges like never before. Organizational resilience and crisis management learning opportunities are often incremental or opportunistic in nature – rather than broad-based, immersive, sector-spanning, peer-sharing, and through a focused and blended methodology that accelerates credible and certified strategic leadership knowledge. The Advanced Resilience and Business Continuity (ARBC) leadership program for Essential Risk Leaders is designed to provide focused learning against core thematic areas within a multi-sector environment, enabling the cross-pollination of ideas, strategies, and experiences.

The program includes 4x Institute of Leadership Management (ILM) qualifications, 93 modules and 53+ hours of eLearning accessible over 5 years, and a 4-day instructor led workshop in Warrenton Virginia. The course comes with approx. 90 ASIS and INSSA CPEs and is recognized by ASIS, SHRM, HRCI, SEC, INSSA and DisasterReady. The course also offers an excellent opportunity for leaders to network with both in and out-of-sector professional peers to share ideas and experiences.

The course looks at the concept of a ‘pracademic’ and the evolving resilience leader and addresses resilience needs spanning the thematic areas of security, risk assessments and BIA’s, intellectual property, finance and fraud, cyber and data management, reputation, litigation, public relations, family liaison, anti-terrorist financing, supply chain management, business vetting, training and development, performance management and auditing, investigations, and standards compliant document system design. The program provides condensed micro-sessions, discussion groups and role player supported exercises within a peer setting to enable a blend of directed learning and shared experiences – offering an excellent networking opportunity for professionals.

This course has supported a wide range of sectors and organizations, including organizations such as: Shell, AstraZeneca, Care, the Carter Center, Halliburton, GISF, BAE, CIPE, CGIAR, RTI, the Population Council, USIP, DAI, CVT, and Sightsavers. The course also includes multiple templates, guidelines, and handouts to reinforce key learning outcomes, and as practical tools for use after the course.
