WFP Common Services Plan: Passenger and light cargo air services

As part of the global humanitarian common services in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, WFP is establishing critical passenger air transport services that ensure humanitarian staff, the UN, NGOs, the broader humanitarian community, and medical personnel can rapidly reach the areas where they are most needed, in compliance with States’ public health procedures.

All User Organisations have to urgently start their registration process to be able to book flights for their personnel planning to travel on the WFP Aviation Services. Kindly refer to the following documents:

The global aviation service starts 01 May, as per the attached network summary, with regional flights from Accra and Addis Ababa and one long-haul flight connecting Geneva, Rome to Addis and Accra. Additional regions will be added to the network later on.

WFP kindly requests each Partner to fill in and submit the Organisation Signatory Introduction Form (Annex 1). Upon receipt of the form, the Organisation identified focal points will be provided with detailed instructions and explanatory materials related to the passenger booking process.
