It is with great sadness that we have to share the news that Craig Maartens, the Director of Global Safety & Security for Save the Children International has passed away from Covid-19. Craig was such a kind man who championed inclusivity within security and always shared resources to support others. He was a great asset for GISF and our sector as a whole.
I enjoyed knowing Craig and our conversations were always so broad and interesting, I will miss him. Our thoughts and best wishes are with his family, friends and colleagues at this sad time. Lisa.

Save the Children have organised a Memorial for Craig, taking place on the 28th of January.
This service is available to people inside and outside Save the Children and you are welcome to forward the invite as appropriate.
