Description

Conflict and post-conflict states are perceived to be amongst the most corrupt in the world. So how does this manifest and how are companies operating in these and other complex environments able to operate responsibly? Join us for an expert panel discussion as we consider the challenges private security companies and their clients face in regions where bribery and corruption are the norm in doing business. Amongst other questions, we’ll consider:

  • What’s the connection between corruption and conflict, and are aspirations for ensuring the responsible provision of security and stability realistic?
  • Why and how does corruption become part of doing business, and how can companies operating above board continue to compete in the face of corrupt competitors?
  • What tools and tactics should responsible companies take advantage of in considering how to operate in potentially corrupt and complex markets?
