Description

WCAPS Conference: Bringing Together Global Perspectives

The conference includes panels, trainings, webinars, a live podcast recording, live performances, happy hour, art auction, special guests, and more!

WCAPS believe global issues demand a variety of perspectives. Ambassador Bonnie Jenkins started the organisation in 2017 based on her vision to create a platform devoted to women of colour that cultivates a strong voice and network for its members while encouraging dialogue and strategies for engaging in policy discussions on an international scale.

WCAPS includes women of colour and allies who serve in the field of peace and security and who are actively working to advance the leadership and professional development of women of colour in the fields of international peace, security, and conflict transformation.

Through their dedication to mentorship and partnerships and their passion for changing the global community landscape, WCAPS remain committed to achieving their vision of advancing the leadership and professional development of women of colour in the fields of international peace, security and conflict transformation.
