Description

This innovative webinar series will serve the needs of the cyber security community providing key educational content, best practice techniques to protect and secure businesses and core updates from within the industry.

Webinar Series:

10:00 am BST | Understanding the cyber landscape, threats, opportunities and making best use of NCSC and other public resources

This webinar will explore the realities of the cyber risk, in conversation with the recently retired head of the organisation he set up on behalf of the Government to protect the UK.

11:00 am BST | Cyber law – what CISOs and CEOs need to know

The cyber world by its very nature is complex; the cyber legal and regulatory world is another layer of complexity often overlooked until it is too late. What are the issues CEOs and CISOs need to be aware of?

11:30 am BST | Embracing diversity – including neurodiversity is normal

There is a lot said about neurodiversity and cyber, but is it right? Should we not recognise that society by its very nature is diverse and those with the label neurodiverse are merely part of that normal spectrum? Thinking differently will provide a better foundation to ensure cyber capabilities are designed and deployed by a better reflection of what should be considered as normality in society. This session will expand your thinking and help understand how proper diversity is normality and can enhance security in businesses.

12:00 am BST | Blockchain and NFTs for security professionals – what are they, how can they help and what do security professionals need to know?

A recent Security Seminar had an audience member say “blockchain is a technology waiting for an application” – how wrong they are. Blockchain and non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are emerging capabilities with real implications for security, and security professionals need to know how and why. This session, from one of the top 50 global commentators, will give that insight.

Speakers include:

  • Ciaran Martin, Former CEO – National Cyber Security Centre, Professor, Oxford University
  • Dean Armstrong QC, Head of Chambers – 36 Group
  • Nicola Whiting, Chief Strategy Officer – Titania Group
  • Lisa Short, Director | Co-Founder – P&L Digital Edge Limited
